P laintiff worked as an auto mechanic for several Ford dealerships and contended that he was exposed to products that contained asbestos and that caused him to develop peritoneal mesothe- lioma. Plaintiff sought damages for reduced
life, pain/suffering, emotional distress, lost wages and his wife’s loss of consortium. The issue at trial was negligent failure to warn and the defense argued that manuals, service bulletins and training materials con- tained warnings regarding asbestos.
