A father and son were driving south- bound on Stone Quarry Road in Flora Township when they were broadsid- ed by a pickup truck at the intersection with Bloods Point Road. The pickup driver had failed to stop at the stop sign and the collision
caused both vehicles to flip over. The father and son both died at the scene, leaving behind the wife and four other children. The defense admitted liability and plaintiff’s experts testi- fied to the family members’ grief and ongoing need for psychological treatment.
