K elly Sabo Gaden, a partner at the law firm Levin & Perconti, is a powerful advocate for the rights of patients and nursing home residents. She brings pas- sion and dedication to her role. She has lit- igated over $50 million in jury awards and settlements for victims of nursing home abuse, neglect, and medical malpractice, including a $1.011 million record setting verdict for a nursing home resident who sustained a hip fracture. Another impres- sive result is a settlement of $1.675 million for a 93-year old assisted living resident who died of extreme heat exposure. She also won a jury verdict of $972,000 against a nursing home and management company for the death of a 92 year old nursing home resident after a fall. Kelly understands each case represents a human tragedy. While impossible to undo the harm, she knows that victims’ families will have no peace until they have justice for their loved one and those re- sponsible have been held accountable so no one else suffers the same fate. Kelly hopes each case she wins not only pro- vides her clients some comfort, but also serves as an impetus to change and a de- terrent to wrongdoing. Kelly’s work ethic has earned the ad- miration and respect of her peers as one of the top personal-injury attorneys in the city. “The thing that I really respect about Kelly is the high-level of lawyering she en- gages in while still being professional,” said Courtney Lindbert with Chicago law firm Cunningham, Meyer & Vedrine. “I have been involved in highly contentious litiga- tion with Kelly, where we have fought hard
