P recious S. Jacobs-Perry regularly achieves major victories for her cli- ents as a successful class-action defense attorney and complex commercial litiga- tor. She also has substantial experience in counseling clients on data privacy issues. The many victories she has achieved have not only earned her the trust and respect of her clients, but also other equally im- pressive attorneys. During her career, Jacobs-Perry has played key roles on litigation teams that have successfully defended or settled multi-million-dollar class actions and breach of contract cases in state and fed- eral courts. In addition to her successful litigation practice, Jacobs-Perry maintains an active pro-bono practice. As part of this work, she has defended her clients against first-degree murder charges, and assist- ed them in overturning a void regulation used by the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services and obtaining a set- tlement against a former employer who violated human and gender rights laws. Her work has been impressive, and her peers have overwhelmingly agreed. Anna Sutti, senior counsel with Wells Fargo Bank, said that Jacobs-Perry is not only a talented and successful attorney, she is also an inspiration to many. “Pre- cious’ competence as a litigator is sec- ond to none. And at 38 years old, she has achieved remarkable success in her career,” Sutti said. This includes being named an equity partner at Jenner & Block, before reaching her 40th birthday. Chicago litigator, Samuel Mendenhall, stated that he is “impressed by everything

she has been able to accomplish.” Leslie Davis, CEO of NAMWOLF, added that Jacobs-Perry is a dynamic attorney that asks “the right questions, appropri- ately pushes boundaries, . . . and has the ability to have a profound impact on the lives she is able to touch and the matters she works on for her clients.” Chicago attorney, Rebekah Carpenter, said that Jacobs-Perry “is a litigator who zealously advocates for her clients, re- gardless of whether the matter is billable or pro bono.” And to sum up all of the nominations, Chicago attorney, Lindsey Dates said Ja- cobs-Perry “is one of the best lawyers of her generation and . . . has the potential to be one of the best lawyers this City has ever seen.” Jacobs-Perry’s success in and com- mitment to the legal profession has not gone unnoticed. Chicago Lawyer Mag- azine named her one of only 50 women recognized in its first Influential Women in Law Award for her work to mentor and promote other women in the profession. She was also elected as a 2018 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow and 2021 Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow. She was also named in Crain’s 2021 No- table Executives in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She has also received the Chicago Scholars’ 35 Under 35 Award, the Na- tional Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division’s Humanitarian Award, the NYU Academic Achievement Program’s Alumni Trailblazer Award and the Family Defense Center’s Major Litigation Award. She is an inspiration indeed.
