Bill embodies what it means to be a modern, trusted attorney: sharp, effective and grounded in integrity.

B ill Souferis' peers say that he is an honest, ethical lawyer. In addition, he boasts a deep knowledge of healthcare and employment law, is a zealous advocate for his clients, works tirelessly for these same clients and is blessed with a keen legal mind. His peers agree, this is the recipe for a successful attorney, one who can be considered a rising star in the Chicago legal community. "Whether in a courtroom, deposition or negotiations, Bill is always prepared, professional and productive," said one fellow attorney. "He has never been satisfied with his successes or de- feated by his failures. Rather, he learns from both and grows as an attorney." Those who have witnessed Souferis in the courtroom say that this young attorney always remains respectful and com- posed, especially when working with witnesses. Again, this is a key skill for an attorney to have. He also boasts a long record of earning winning results for his clients, including when representing them in complex health- care and employment law matters. "He brings a thoughtful, human approach to every interaction

and has a proven track record of success," said Chris Kantas, general counsel with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute. "Bill em- bodies what it means to be a modern, trusted attorney: sharp, effective and grounded in integrity." As an example of Souferis' legal skills, his peers point to a dif- ficult case involving allegations of sexual abuse in a healthcare facility. During this case, Souferis faced significant challenges obtaining information from the facility because its ownership had changed prior to the filing of the lawsuit. Because of this, Souferis was subjected to several discovery motions in front of a tough judge. But this young attorney always maintained his composure during difficult court hearings and provided passionate repre- sentation of his client. This ultimately resulted in Souferis secur- ing a good outcome for this client prior to trial. "Bill is an extremely smart and dedicated attorney," said Molly Pankauskas, partner at Hall Prangle. "He has an impressive knowl- edge of the law and regularly comes up with creative legal argu- ments to best serve his clients' interests. He is very quick on his feet when he needs to pivot his arguments in front of a judge."
