E mily Tripicchio is the complete package: an insurance liti- gation attorney with excellent negotiation skills, the legal smarts to quickly understand the most complex of cases, excep- tional writing skills and a deep understanding of her field. But what really sets Tripicchio apart? Her connection and dedication to her clients. “Emily is not only an exceptional lawyer, but a phenomenal person,” said Marissa Dellacroce, litigation counsel at the Chi- cago office of JLL. “She does not need to employ underhand- ed tactics because she always has the strategic and mental upper hand.” Tripicchio's peers point to this young attorney's winning results as evidence of her legal skills. As one nominator points out, Tripicchio has already successfully tried and won both a major insurance coverage case and an international cover- age arbitration, rare accomplishments for a lawyer at her level of experience. Tripicchio guides nationwide coverage strategy for this client and partners with claims professionals and local counsel to deliver defensible outcomes. “While insurance coverage litigation rarely reaches jurors, when it does, Emily brings formidable trial skills to bear, advo- cating effectively and decisively on behalf of her clients,” said Glenn Guth, who, before his retirement, owned Guth Law Group in Chicago. One is example is when Tripicchio represented an insur- er in a federal jury trial involving the recission of a psychiat- ric professional liability policy. The jury returned a complete defense verdict, answering each of six verdict questions in the insurer's favor. Tripicchio also volunteers her time for her community and profession. She is a member of her firm’s Associate Committee where she oversees associate recruitment, development, and evaluation. She is also an active member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and volunteers for the Winnetka Commu- nity Nursery School.
