SHARON ZABAN CO-CHAIR, EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Aronberg Goldgehn

S heri Zaban is Co-Chair of the Executive Management Committee at Aronberg Goldgehn, a full-service mid-sized law firm that prioritizes satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Additionally, she serves as Co-Chair of the Banking and Finance and Real Estate and Construction practice groups. Sheri concentrates her practice on real estate law with a particular emphasis on real estate and commercial financing. She represents banks, life insurance companies and other financial institutions nationwide in a variety of secured real estate and commercial loan transactions, including construction loans and mezzanine loans. She also handles transactional distressed loan workouts, including restructurings, modifications, forbearance documentation, note sales and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure transactions. Her general real estate practice involves acquisitions, dispo- sitions, leasing, construction and condominium development

and deconversion work. Sheri represents real estate owners and developers in connection with the development, acquisition, leasing and disposition of all types of real estate investments. Her experience includes the representation of buyers in the purchase of condominium buildings and subsequent deconversion to multi- family rental buildings. She has worked as a Legal Hotline Volunteer for CARPLS and has volunteered at the Pro Se Divorce Clinic for the Legal Assistance Foundation. Sheri has been named as a 2025 Illinois Leading Lawyer, a 2025 Illinois Super Lawyer, and has also been named to the 2025 Best Lawyers list. In addition, she has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® list in Real Estate Law since 2013. Under her leadership, Aronberg Goldgehn earned the Crain’s Chicago Business 2025 Best Places to Work award. Her legal career has spanned more than 30 years.
